Yesterday the year 3/4s were able to work with Mrs Daldry to do some artwork. Mrs Daldry was invited back to our school to be an artist in residence to assist all the classes across our school to produce artwork around the theme of Lent. Our class produced a 3D piece of artwork around the Last Supper. We hope you enjoy the video of the creative process and a big thank you to Mrs Daldry for a great Art lesson.
In RBL we drew different pictures that were in Fox and Fine Feathers. We had a choice to do a bird , ferns and the fox. Once we had finished our drawings we then had to colour it in and then we applied a glitter wash. Here is a slide show of our wonderful work.

We learnt about a book called ‘Kip’. Kip is a rooster that all day long will go, ‘coca doodle do’. They put him on a farm and the neighbourhood said it was too quiet, so they went to see him and he went, ‘coca doodle do’.
We had to draw pictures of him and paint them.

Below is some wonderful artwork that we did during an RBL lesson with the talented Mrs Daldry. Mrs Daldry read us the story ‘Isabella’s Garden’ by Glenda Millard. We were inspired to paint these pictures in the naïve painting style of Rebecca Cool. We hope you enjoy them. If you want a closer look they will soon be on display in the Campus Resource Centre.
