Year 3 Baldock appreciates your support.

Once upon a time Brad, Matthew and Steven were home alone. It was a cold and windy Friday night. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Brad opened the door very slowly, but when it was fully open it was a slimy man eating tiger. Brad quickiy shut the door, and ran to the front room. Brad told his brother’s but they didnt believe him.

 

There was another knock , so Steven went to get the door , but when he opened it, there was a hippo, it had five arm’s and six leg’s. Then  he slamed the door shut. He ran back to the living room. Matthew shouted, “call 000”, So they did. Ten minute’s later the Police couldn’t find them.

Then there was another knock on the door, so Matthew opened the door, It was only Mum and Dad .The  next day it was my Birthday.Brad had a big party Brad invited all his friend’s. Then Brad found out that it was only his friends dressing up. They thought it was funny.

 



Once upon a time Amy was home alone.  It was a cold and windy Friday night.  Suddenly there was a knock at the door.  Amy went to answer the door.  She was terrified,  it was......  her pet poodle.  Amy was so delighted that it wasn't what she thought it was.  But then the door was knocked again.  Amy was thinking the person at the door was someone delivering a collar for her gorgeous poodle, but it was actually an eight-eyed monster!

The house was bare, so there was nothing for Amy to hide behind.   Amy was left to deal with the monster herself, and as for her poodle, well it just vanished into thin air.  Amy didn't know what to do, because the monster was getting so close, so close now that Amy could smell the monster's stinky breath.

But then Amy heard a voice she recognised.   It was her older brother Bob's voice saying 'I tricked you, didn't you know that it was April fools day?  Amy's brother took off his monster costume.  Amy was very, very, very mad.  She had, had such a bad day at school, because she accidentally broke the teacher's glasses (and got a big detention for that), she also got blamed for a bad accident and finally, as Amy walked down the school corridor someone turned on the alarm, and you wouldn't want to think about the trouble she was in.   Now Amy's brother Bob was teasing her about the big fright, when suddenly the doorbell rang.

This time everything was serious.  This time it was not Bob.  The door opened and Amy's mum appeared.  Amy woke up.  It was all a nightmare.  Amy had just been part of the scariest nightmare ever!  "You have been asleep for ten years!" Amy's mum told Amy.   Amy was so shocked.  
             

On Monday night after tea we had dessert. For dessert we had icecream and cake. On our icecream and cake we had chocolate drops and toppings. The choices of the toppings were strawberry, caramel and chocolate. The choices for the ice cream were vanilla or vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

When we had finished our dessert some people wanted to have more dessert. The dessert was fantastic. We had a cake for Niamh and Charlotte P’s Birthday. Everyone thought it was a fantastic dessert. I really liked the dessert even the cake. The flavour we chose was vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

At camp we had a quiz night. We had to get a team together and make up a name for the team. In my team was Rosie, Verity, Bethany, Jasmine, Madi and I. We named the team Burping Bananas. Another team was called The Money Makers another team was called Mathew Is Scared and another group was Groovy Girls. Round 1 was songs from movies some of the movies were, Despicable Me, The Lorax, Harry Potter and Toy Story. The winner of round 1 was the Groovy Girls.

Round 2 was songs from T.V shows. Some of the answers were Almost Naked Animals, H20 Just add water, Prank Patrol and Stoked. The winner of that round was a tie between Burping Bananas and Mathew is scared.
